The modernistic
design and automated function of Pergolaire louvered opening roof patios bring
fashion centred ingenuity to how we live outdoors. For this home setting the
design needed to bring architectural definition to the home in a way that would
accentuate the waterside aspect.
The result was to craft a structure of two
separate roof styles with the gable roof channeling the pool and canal vistas while
providing an architectural spine for the flat roof elements to spread laterally
giving full coverage and sectional climate control over the dining, lounging
and cooking areas.
