Custom Carports Designed for Your Home, Built to Last

Every Trueline carport starts with one of our proven structures, then we tailor it to your home, style, and budget. Any of our designs can be aluminium, insulated, or steel carports.

Choose a Style That Suits Your Home

Every Trueline carport starts with one of our proven structures, then we tailor it to your home, style, and budget. Any of our designs can be aluminium, insulated, or steel carports.

Pallas Rendered Carports

Architecturally inspired, with sculpted bulkheads and columns that bring a premium finish to any home. Engineered for geometric precision and designed to complement contemporary or high-end properties.

Heritage Carports

A heavier, more architectural structure finished with a closed gable roof. Available in Queenslander or Hamptons style — with weatherboard detailing, chamfer board panels, and optional side cladding for extra weather protection.

Steel Carports

A straightforward, durable solution built for Australian conditions. Steel carports handle harsh sun, heavy rain, and storms without fuss. It’s a practical option that looks good, lasts, and does exactly what you need it to.

Insulated Carports

The premium everyday choice. Insulated roofing keeps your space cooler in summer, cuts down rain noise, and creates a clean finish underneath — making your carport feel like a genuine outdoor living area, not just a shelter. Available in single, double, or custom sizing with contoured, skillion, or flat roof profiles.
Not sure which solution fits your space? We’ll help you decide.

Our Carport Building Process

Between matching the style of your home and navigating council permits, making alterations or additions to your property can be stressful. Our process is designed to take care of everything for you, so you can relax knowing your carport is in the hands of the experts.

01
Discovery

The first step is to get in contact with our team to discuss your requirements and get some general guidance. Then we’ll organise a time to visit your home for the next step.

02
Design

We visit your home to see the space, taking the time to listen and understand what's not working. Then it’s all about finding the right solution through smart roofing design, whether that’s the materials we use or how the structure is planned. By the end, you’ll have a tailored carport design and a clear project proposal.

03
Approval

We'll do all the necessary engineering, drafting, and submission to obtain council approval for your carport (where required) through a private certifier or surveyor. Trueline will organise all this for you to ensure the smoothest possible process for your carport project.

04
Construction

Trueline's qualified builders will come and make your dream come true. We communicate with you every step of the way and leave your site clean and tidy, ready for use usually right away. You and your home will be left with a beautiful new outdoor space where your car, boat or caravan can be protected, your goods can be stored, and your family can enjoy.

What Size Carport Do You Need?

So, what does Trueline include in the design and build of our carports? We have many options for customisation with style and structure, but all of our carports are built with these base features:

Single Carport

A single carport is the most standard size, occupying approximately 3m x 6m and comfortably fitting a single vehicle. If your car or vehicle is oversized it may be difficult to fit in this space. Make sure to discuss height, width, and length with your Trueline design consultant if you have any concerns.

Double Carport

A double carport is an extension of a single carport with space for two standard size vehicles. This may be a side-by-side spacing of 6m x 6m, or lengthways at 3m x 12m, where two cars fit one behind another.

Triple Carport

A triple carport has space for three separate vehicles and can accommodate larger objects such as boats or caravans alongside a standard size car. A triple carport comes in a 9m x 6m size and is great for extra storage space.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

A carport is a covered area under which cars can be parked. Unlike a garage, it is not fully enclosed — carports normally have at least 2 open sides and with freestanding structures, often all sides will be open. Often roller doors or panel lift doors can be added depending on local laws. At Trueline, carports are roofed structures that can be customised to suit your needs. Whether you want it closed on one or more sides, we can create a custom carport based on your needs.

Yes, we have an extensive range of colour options available for all of our carports. You can easily match your carport to your existing home or to the aesthetic and style you desire to create.

At Trueline, we design and build custom carports. This means that we design, supply and install the carport on your property for an inclusive, fixed price contract.

Duration of build is dependent on the complexity, size and materials chosen for the design. For a standard 6x6m carport, it typically takes 1–2 days, however at Trueline this duration can be extended based on style and sizing customisation. It is best to speak with your design consultant if you have concerns about your carport build time.

At Trueline, we always make sure to design a carport that fits within your budget, which is why discussing your specific needs with our design consultant is so important.

In most cases, council approval is required before having a carport installed. Certain factors impact the council approval process, such as the design you choose, the proximity of the structure to the boundary line of your property, and compliance with Local Council requirements. Trueline works with specialised certifiers and surveyors to manage the whole process of council approvals on behalf of their customers, including siting relaxations, development applications and fire engineer reports.

Trueline offers lengthy guarantee periods on single skin and insulated roofing carports:

  • 10 Year Product Guarantee
  • 15 Year Workmanship Guarantee
  • 20 Year Base Metal Guarantee
  • 30 Year Corrosion Resistance

This does not cover damages caused by outside influences, such as electrical storms, power surges, storm and tempest, or maintenance by unauthorised distributors.

We offer single, double or triple sized carport spaces. The most common sizes are: Single Carport — approximately 6m x 3m, fits one vehicle. Double Carport — approximately 6m x 6m, fits two cars side by side. Triple Carport — approximately 9m x 6m, allows you to fit three cars. As long as boundaries and available space are not an issue, we are happy to design and build a carport to your specific requirements.
